Word of welcome from the Hamburg Golf Association

We wish you a nice golf season 2021...

The forewords to the Hansegolf in Hamburg each year usually read like this, or at least something similar. Winter golf, season planning, last year's champions, the opening of the season - all these topics are highlighted in order to create a warm feeling of anticipation for golf in the cold and dark season.
This year, however, everything is a bit different because we have to fight a pandemic first. All people in Germany are affected by the measures and almost all people are helping to overcome this crisis. Unfortunately, the different perspectives of the federal states recently led to the golf courses being closed in Schleswig-Holstein and in Hamburg and
Lower Saxony the places remained open. Fortunately, golf has been excellently prepared for such situations since the last lockdown. Learned hygiene concepts, compulsory masks, disinfection columns, walking paths, start time systems and signage ensure that everything runs smoothly and that safety distances are maintained so that operations can be maintained without the risk of infection. Unfortunately, despite strong joint efforts by clubs and associations at various levels, it was not possible to achieve an early opening. Of course, we still find that very regrettable, even if the snow cover that has meanwhile led to a "forced break" for golfers anyway.
With this in mind, we wish all golfers a great 2021 season, if possible under normal conditions...

Ladies and Gentlemen
dear golf friends,
Unfortunately, due to the current situation, the Hanse Golf will not take place this year. All the better that there is the opportunity to find out digitally about the latest golf-related news.
Corona has shown that outdoor sports are attractive. Golf is a sport for the whole family. We should use this chance.
We in MV see ourselves as a golf region! Especially in the new federal states, golf courses are of economic and tourist importance that should not be underestimated. Investments are made on our facilities and regional tourism is promoted.
There are currently 17 golf courses in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which differ in style, playing characteristics and atmosphere. In addition to your sporting activities, do not miss getting to know the high-class hotels on our facilities as well as the cultural and scenic highlights of our country.

Dear friends of golf,

due to the corona pandemic, it was unfortunately not possible to let the Munich Golf Days take place as usual. But moping is no longer valid! We are therefore all the more pleased that there are now numerous digital options for finding out about the latest golf news.
​
As the first lockdown showed us, the sport of golf could be seen as a big winner from the crisis. Golf is an individual sport that is highly demanding, but can still be practiced with the whole family. Sufficient distance and sport in the fresh air is not only good for the body but also for the mind.
The hurdles of wanting to get to know golf were largely removed by Corona and the numbers have developed accordingly nationwide. We see a great opportunity for the Bavarian golf clubs to acquire new golfers at this time and to meet the high demand for our sport.
​
If you are planning a golf holiday for 2021, you will probably look around more in your own country. The Bavarian golf region is ideal here. Fantastic golf courses in beautifully situated nature and also culture and enjoyment in many ways can be found here. Golfland Bavaria is optimistic in these difficult and uncertain times: golfers are becoming more aware of the need to go on (golf) holidays in their own country, and Bavaria was already benefiting from this in 2020 and would like to continue this success.

Trade fairs, events and tournaments will take place again and with it the opportunity for networking and personal contacts. In the future, this will still require some unusual measures, but will not prevent us from continuing to plan and carry out a successful and, above all, safe Hanse Golf wholeheartedly.

Thank you for a nice start to the season at Hanse Golf 2021

The new golf season started for the 18th time at Hanse Golf from February 14th to 16th, 2020. Satisfied exhibitors, partners and above all many happy golfers.
​
Around 16,800 visitors visited Hanse Golf last weekend and experienced great golfing moments. Thus, the Hanse Golf could again as the largest golf fairin the north and set a new exhibitor record with over 220 exhibitors.
​
True to the motto "Taking part is everything", not only the North German golf community met over the three days. Due to the numerous events taking place at the same time or in the immediate run-up, the week and weekend surrounding Hanse Golf is becoming more and more of a national golf meeting point, which is attracting attention beyond the borders of northern Germany.
Many thanks for the great action areas and the commitment of all exhibitors! Furthermore, many thanks to the north German golf associations and the members of the trade fair advisory board at Hanse Golf.

Play on dreamy putting greens from Private Greens

At the Hanse Golf 2020, "Private Greens & FiberGrass International GmbH“ once again gives visitors new opportunities to test the putter innovations at the fair directly on their greens or to carry out a putter fitting. The longest putt is again designed by "private greens".
